Trade Performance

Through Tobin Trade USA, the buyer and seller are assured of trade performance prior to the actual exchange of product and payment. To eliminate virtually all risk and ensure satisfaction on both sides, the international payment process is identical for both trading partners. By design, the process permits only credit-worthy, solvent and reputable companies to participate in the trade process. Here's how it works:

1. Buyer places deposit in own name with USA partner bank as pending payment upon successful completion of the terms of contract.
2. Tobin Trade USA opens International Letter of Credit to seller.
3. Sellers’ products are inspected/certified, properly packaged, shipped via ocean or air, imported into USA, cleared through customs (applicable duty charges paid) and loaded onto inland rail or truck.
4. Upon successful completion of all pre-defined terms, buyer deposit applied and payment completed to seller.
5. All contracts transacted in US dollars.
6. Both the buyer and seller are protected through the Tobin Trade USA contract.
